Understanding Park Regulations

Welcome to Jersey Shore Haven! To ensure a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable experience for all, please follow these community guidelines:

General Site Rules

  • No subleasing or loaning of your site or RV.
  • Rent and fees must be paid in advance.
  • No permanent structures allowed. Screen rooms require Board approval and must be removed at season’s end.
  • No tents without Board approval.
  • Use only your assigned campsite. Do not walk through or use other sites.
  • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • Speed limit: 5 MPH throughout the campground.
  • No fences or outside storage sheds are allowed. Two low-profile storage bins (max 24") are permitted.
  • No smoking in any buildings or the pool area.
  • No signs except site name. One small “For Sale” sign (in RV window only) is allowed.
  • Use of campground facilities is at your own risk.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised at all times. Helmets are required by law for bike riders under 17.
  • No one under 18 may stay overnight without an adult.
  • No unauthorized motorized vehicles (mini bikes, golf carts, etc.) unless medically necessary and approved by the Board.
  • Campground supports only 30-amp electric. Do not tamper with utilities.
  • No electric or hybrid vehicle charging.
  • Disrespect or abuse toward staff or guests may result in suspension or loss of privileges.

Lighting & Equipment

  • Outside lighting must be minimal (under 18"), safety-focused, and turned off when not in residence. No decorative lights.
  • No bug zappers during quiet hours.
  • Tarps or covers may not remain on RVs longer than 14 days.
  • Air conditioners must be turned off if away for more than 24 hours.
  • Outside refrigerators, boats, and trailers are not allowed on sites.

Pool Rules

  • Swim at your own risk. No swimming alone.
  • Rinse before entering the pool.
  • No food/drinks inside the pool area (except water in plastic containers).
  • No running, diving, or unsafe behavior.
  • Babies must wear swim diapers.

Sewer & Laundry

  • Use a sewer donut connection as required by law.
  • All wastewater must be in closed, leak-proof systems. No dumping on the ground.
  • Only flush waste and toilet paper—no wipes, diapers, or feminine products.
  • Keep bathrooms and laundry areas clean.
  • No clotheslines; one drying rack per site is allowed.

Guest Policy

  • All guests must register at the office upon arrival.
  • Max 10 people per site (including visitors) during the day.
  • You are responsible for your guests' behavior.

Site Maintenance

  • Bring trash and recycling to the designated bins (no plastic bags in recycling).
  • Keep your site tidy. No trash, debris, or unsightly items.
  • No cutting, trimming, or damaging trees or shrubs. Fines apply.
  • All plants become campground property once planted.
  • Watering must be done by handheld hose only.
  • Fires allowed only in approved fire rings. Never leave fires unattended.

Pets

  • Max 2 pets per site. Must be leashed (max 6 feet) and never left unattended.
  • No excessive barking or disruptive behavior.
  • Pick up after your pet.
  • No pets in buildings or pool area.
  • No tying pets outside when you're not present.

Additional Info

  • Rules may be updated by the Board at any time for safety and community comfort.
  • Leases are not transferable. Late seasonal payments may result in relocation of your RV.
  • Winter storage available for seasonal guests (application required).
  • Airstream shareholders may sponsor non-Airstream guests (limit 30 days per season and sponsor must be present).
